Role Description
This is a contract role for a Welder at KTU Shipyard in Batam. The Welder will be responsible for performing arc welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, and working with various materials. This is an on-site role that requires hands-on fabrication and welding tasks.
Qualifications
• Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding skills
• Experience working with different materials in welding processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
• Certifications in welding or related fields
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Physical strength and stamina for manual labor
• Previous experience in a shipbuilding or construction environment is a plus
