Responsibilities
• Create 3D game-ready assets: work on High Poly model, Low Poly model, UV map, and Texture set.
• Deliver work on time and according to schedule.
• Digest direction, participate and engage with other team member to stay current on the scope and understanding of the project.
• Multitask effectively; prioritize competing demands, and follow through on details.
Requirements
• First-hand knowledge & practical experience of 3D Digital Content Creation software (Blender, Zbrush, Maya, 3ds Max, etc.). You need to adapt to Zbrush and Blender for the production pipeline in Agate.
• Able to create good quality 3D model for characters, their equipment, props, etc
• Able to digest and break down 3D model execution from concept art & lead/supervisor/director’s direction
• Able to create good quality textures using software like Substance Painter
• A proactive communicator, willing to give and receive constructive feedback
• 2+ years of professional experience in the game development industry as a 3D Artist with at least one shipped title (excluding academic projects)
Pluses
• Strong character art portfolio
• Able to create procedural material using Substance Designer
• Full understanding of 3D game art workflows and pipelines
• Experience & interest in developing stylized 3D art
• Proficiency in integrating 3D asset to a game engine like Unity & Unreal
